On the session of city council of Municipality of Ljubljana (MOL), which took part on Monday, 7th July 2008, have city councillors in majority accepted supplemented outline of Decree about changes and completions of Decree about master plan for the area of Passenger Centre Ljubljana, which includes also new city centre – Emonika. Accepted changes among others enable also deepening of the railway and foresee changes in public-logistic part of the project Emonika. Commercial part of Emonika remains the same in spite of changes of master plan.

Initiative for the change of master plan for the area of Passenger Centre Ljubljana came from Municipality of Ljubljana (MOL), for the first time in the end of the spring last year with the initiative about the change of the position of station hall in the frame of Emonika. Accepted outline about changes of master plan for the area of PCL foresees changes of underpass and station hall under railway trails into overpass and station hall over railway trails.

Investor of project Emonika was introduced with suggested supplemented outline about changes of master plan of the area of PCL in the middle of June, during arrangement of materials for MOL's city council session in July, and has few days later also delivered comments. Investor of project Emonika expects that his comments and suggestions, referring especially on mistakes regarding the size of (building) surface, will be considered by MOL before final suggestion of master plan for the area of PCL is elaborated.

Despite that investor received supplemented outline about changes of master plan for the area of PCL six months later regarding agreed date, investor thinks, that there will not come to serious delays at construction of project Emonika, if supplemented decree about master plan for the area of Passenger Centre Ljubljana will be discused on MOL's city council session in September, which is also arranged with the contract about cooperation with the city.
